Mexico 1861, ½r black on buff, Morelia. Upper pane of 18 (positions 1-18), full o.g. (many n.h.), with full sheet margins at top and right, fresh with bold impression, light creasing and partial scissor separation between bottom left horizontal pair, Very Fine appearance, a remarkable large multiple, ex Dormer; signed J. Bash.

Mexico 1861, 1r black on green, Soyaniquilpan. Tied by straight line "Soyaniquilpan" handstamp (Schatzkes 1546) on reverse of 1863 folded letter to Mexico City, Very Fine, a scarce on cover usage, with only 694 issued.

Mexico 1861, 1r black on green, Tabasco. Without district overprint, pair and single tied to piece by "Franco" in box of apparently Tacotalpa, Tabasco (Sz. 1569EB), which is not recorded as yet on stamps or an equally rare totally unlisted device, stamps cut into at top, Fine, a very rare item.

Mexico 1861, 2r black on pink, Hermosillo. Tied by straight line postmark (Schatzkes 541) on 1861 folded letter sheet to Guaymas; minor faint cover toning, Very Fine, only 1,020 issued and few are recorded on cover (NF $125 for off cover single); with 2007 MEPSI certificate.

Mexico 1861, 2r black on pink, Oaxaca. Fine single tied by unlisted "E" handstamp on 1861 cover to Oaxaca, matching "Villa Alta de San Ildefonso" boxed handstamp (Schatzkes 1084) at top; light horizontal file fold affecting stamp, otherwise Very Fine, a rare usage from Villa Alta de San Ildefonso with the canceling handstamp possibly unique.

Mexico 1861, 2r black on pink, without overprint, Orizava. Complete strike of Orizava dotted lozenge cancel (Schatzkes 1101, 100pts), margins ample to touching, light vertical crease, an Extremely Fine strike, a rare use on stamps without district name during the French Intervention.
