Black oval datestamp on 1864 3¢ pink entire with black company frank with a line of text at the bottom indicating that Truman's San Francisco office was in the "Merchants' Exchange Building, Battery Street, opposite the Post Office", Lemoine Gambert correspondence to San Jose, Very Fine and attractive; one of only a handful of covers with the Truman Company handstamp.
