Over 60 stamps with Tiger's Head in design from the period, most plated and with position annotated, some with pieces torn or cut out, others intact, only one marked as possible counterfeit, seemingly mixed condition, worthy of close examination by the specialist, considerable catalog value.

Argentina, Classics, 1856-67. Over 220 stamps, neatly displayed on quadrille pages, and including an 1819 stampless cover Tucuman to Salto; including a number of Argentine Confederation issues with some multiples, but main interest in Republic issues from 1862 many with interesting cancels; high power in Rivadavia imperfs, including #9 mint & used, #10 used, 15A (with RPS ceert) & 16 used; also strong Buenos Aires including #3 mint, used #3 (2), 4 & 5 and excellent subsequent issues; also Cordoba #2 mint on laid paper and good selection of Corrientes Ceres Heads; high catalog value in this collection, some mixed condition, should be valued by an expert.
