Impressive range of Moldavia & Moldavia-Walachia Oxhead issues, including #1&2 (cut square), 3 (cut to shape), #5 with Heimbüchler cert; many examples of 19-21 including tête-bêche pairs and some with one stamp sideways; for Romania itself a nice showing of Prince Cuza imperfs followed by Prince Carol designs with shades, papers, perfs, varieties and cancels; mostly very attractive and seldom seen, mixed condition, please inspect.

Attractively mounted on quadrille pages, including #1 (one with pen cancel and one with town handstamp); #3 (one town cds and one dots cancel); #4 (one with dot cancel, one town cancel); #5-11 well represented with duplicates; excellent Wenden with L1 block of 4, L2 & L3 (2); L4-6 (various mint & used examples, L7; plus an 1863 cover with #L6 in combination with 1k, 3k & 10k Coat of Arms; also Offices in Turkey #1 (2 nice examples & 2 rather faulty); mixed condition overall but clean and attractive.

Impressive showing of first issues, including shades and varieties, featuring 6 examples of #1, the same for #3 & #4, #5 (7, one with cert); scads of 1858-61 perf 14 Øre denominations, including #7 (11 examples); also Dues, Officials and Stockholm Locals LX1-2; catalog value for this study is huge, with many shades, condition mixed, careful evaluation a necessity.
