Collection of 140 cards & covers, beginning with a letter in his handwriting signed by Sir Joseph Paxton, architect of the 1851 Crystal Palace in London, numerous cards and covers of the 1896 Budapest Worlds Fair including some lovely colored view cards of various pavilions, Fair postmarks on others; items from 1889 Bucharest; 1892 Plovdiv; 1901 Riga; 1896 Bucharest Expo; 1897 Stockholm, including lovely colored postcards of pavilions; 1897 Guatemala Central American Exposition with lovely stationery and stamp proofs; 1922 Brazil Centenary Exposition; also scarce 1955 Pnom-Penh International Exposition; and much more, condition generally F-VF or better, please inspect.

Worldwide Topicals, Early European Expositions, 1855-1873. Very early group of covers & other items, beginning with several covers with French postmarks of the 1855 Exposition Universalle at Paris; there are several highlights including 1862 London International Exhibition postmark on cover to New York with markings; several covers of the 1867 Paris Universal Exposition on official envelope with blue free frank for the Imperial Commission, another on Chamber of Commerce envelope with exposition postmark and dotted diamond cancel with "EU" at center; 1863 Leipzig postmark with boxed "Turn-Fest-Platz / Leipzig"; 1865 fancy envelope with straight line "Dresden 25. Juli 1865" and red oval "Sanger / Fest Platz / with post horn" and numerous other postmarks front and back; 1873 Vienna International Exhibition with cover of "U.S. Dept. of Machinery / Vienna Exposition / T.R. Pickering, Engineer." corner card, to New York with Austrian franking; several other covers & cards with Vienna Fair cancels; Wilson sewing machine advert cover with "Highest Premium at World's Fair, Vienna, 1873" at top; and several other items including 1873 letter of appointment with letter signed by U.S. Secretary of State Hamilton Fisk for Commissioner; somewhat mixed condition on some items but overall a fascinating group.

Group of 19 covers and ephemera having postmarks, corner cards or other reference to the Exposition, including fancy red free frank of the Minister of Agriculture and Commerce on his official cover; various "Yale Lock Postal Bureau / Section des Etats-Unis / Exposition Universelle / Paris 1878" handstamp; several covers with Expo cancels (French); also illustrated corner cards with Expo medallions; and 14 full color trade-like cards showing various views and pavilions at the Exposition, in excellent condition; very interesting and generally F-VF condition overall.
