Red cds forwarding cover from North Fairhaven, Mass. to Yreka, Cal. manuscript "5¢ forwd" alongside, origin cds with "Paid" handstamp and manuscript 6 rate, docketed "rec'd Oct 16, 1853" on face, turned cover with local North Fairhaven usage, with original 1852 enclosure and newspaper clippings, Very Fine, an interesting cover over 10 months in transit.
