Confederacy, 1861, 5¢ light green. Stone 2, two large margin singles, tied by incomplete strike "Dudley, N.C./Jan 31" double-lined cds with a nearly complete strike at left on cover to Demopolis, Ala.; reduced a bit at left, right stamp with small pre-use tear at top, otherwise Very Fine.

Confederacy, 1861, 5¢ light green, Stone 2. Large margins all around, bright shade, tied by blue "Petersburg, Va./Dec. 20" circular datestamp on buff cover to Gaston N.C., small nick in left edge of cover, Very Fine.
