Confederacy, 1863, 10¢ greenish blue. Huge margins including part top sheet margin, tied by "Oct/30/1863" datetamp alongside clear 19mm semi-circle "Chicamauga" on cover to Rev. Thos. R. Markham, 1st Miss. Regt. Light Artly., Enterprise, Miss., Very Fine and attractive, A marvelous example of this rare Army of Tennessee Field Post marking that was in use for less than three weeks from October 25 to November 14, 1863.

Miller, Auction and Commission Merchant scroll corner card, on soldier addressed cover to Evan's Brigade in Charleston, S.C., cover turned and franked with 1863, 10¢ blue tied by "Charleston, S.C., Jan 2, 1864" cds, addressed back to Sumter, Very Fine, an unusual adversity usage.

This Columbus datestamp with the integral "5" is noted in the 1986 Dietz Catalog [page 50] as a pre-war marking, not to be confused with Confederate usage.
