In red on cover to Philadelphia franked with manuscript cancelled 1857 3¢ dull red with matching "Lorentz Store/Feb. 15" (in what is now West Virginia) postmark, flap torn & worn corner at top left, tiny abrasion in design, Fine. This extremely rare design is illustrated in Wishnietzky book on Confederate patriotics, because the 13 stars in this flag is believed to represent Kentucky as the 13th Confederate State.
