Cunard Line Steamship "Cuba", New York August 23rd - Queenstown September 1st 1865. Envelope posted at New York August 23rd addressed to Paris bearing the "NEW PAID YORK 21 / AUG / 23" incorrectly applied as the treaty rate of 15 cents was prepaid using 1861-63, 10¢ green + 5¢ brown. Routed through Calais on September 3rd with Paris arrival of the same day. Redirected on reverse to Picouigny arriving there on the 4th September. Atlantic Transit of 9 days; 10¢ with a couple small flaws, otherwise Very Fine.

1861 90¢ blue, Single Usage on 1866 Cover From USA to New South Wales via Great Britain. Posted at "Washington, D.C." on 3rd January 1866 prepaid 90 cents to Sydney by the treaty rate via England.and carried from New York to Queenstown on Cunarder Australasian, routed to Marseilles where it was placed aboard the Syria of the Pacific and Orient Line which carried it to Alexandria, from where it was carried overland to Suez. On February 6 it left Suez on the S.S. Delhi (P&O), arriving at Galle February 23 and departing the next day aboard the S.S. Madras (P&O) which carried it to Melbourne where it transferred to the coastal mail boat which delivered it at Sydney on March 20th. Atlantic transit of 10 days.; light vert. cover fold & trivial flap flaws, light vert. cover fold & trivial flap flaws, Very Fine and a stunning single usage of the 1861 90¢ blue, ex-DuPuy; with 1998 P.S.E. certificate.

Cunard Steamship Asia, Boston December 19th - Queenstown December 29th 1866. Wrapper posted at New Orleans December 11th 1866.and addressed to Bordeaux prepaid the ¼ - ½ ounce rate of 30 cents using 1861, 30¢ orange, New York Foreign Mail office canceller and "NEW PAID YORK 24 / DEC /18". At Calais the exchange office stamp for January 1st 1867 and "PD" paid to destination stamps applied. Reverse bears Bordeaux arrival of January 2nd. Atlantic Transit of 10 days., Very Fine.

Cunard Line Steamship "Siberia", New York December 22nd 1869 Queenstown January 3rd 1870. Mourning envelope posted at Auburn, N.Y. on December 20th arriving New York December 22nd addressed to York, England. Prepaid the 12 cent rate of January 1868 which was reduced to 6 cents in January 1870 making this a late use of the earlier rate. Paid with 1869, 3¢ ultramarine, horizontal strip of four cork cancelled at the New York Foreign Mail office. Atlantic Transit of 12 days; right stamp with corner nick at top right, otherwise Very Fine.

Cunard Line Steamship "Parthia", New York September 13th - Queenstown September 23rd 1873. Illustrated corner card envelope put into the posts at Wheeling, West Virginia on September 10th addressed to Halifax, Yorkshire. Prepaid the 6 cents rate of January 1870 using 1870, 1¢ ultramarine, split grill + 3¢ green, grill + 2¢ red brown. Reverse bears a Halifax arrival stamp of September 23rd. Atlantic Transit 10 days; stamps with some gum perf toning, otherwise Very Fine.
