Canal Zone, 1886-88 Panama Canal French Bonds. 6 Compagnie Universelle du Canal Interocéanique de Panama bond documents issued for the building of the Panama Canal (one of different design), each with at least one Canal Fiscal stamp, four have two stamps, and one has a red German fiscal printed on the document. One document has 12 coupons still attached, Very Fine, the French abandoned the building of the canal after many of the workers contracted yellow fever and died.

Canal Zone, 1904, 5¢ blue. Tied on 1905 registered cover to Boston Mass. by red crayon, additionally franked with Panama 5¢ (78) pair, 10¢ (79) single, 2¢ (180) strip of 3 + single, 10¢ (F27) + 5¢ (H22), all appropriately tied, New York & Boston backstamps, some cover repairs, otherwise F.-V.F.
