Accumulation of several hundred covers, generally California related, all with illustrated advertising or interesting corner cards, the range of subjects including automobiles, petroleum & gasoline, railroads, hotels, wine growing, photography, newspapers and publishing, farming implements & machinery, telephones, bicycles, groceries, nurseries, cigars & tobacco, and much much more; also note some Wells Fargo covers with company franks, ephemera including nice illustrated letterheads, 1870's Lake County bonds, some real photo postcards, California town cancels, etc; worth careful evaluation by the "eBayer" and bourse dealer, condition generally F-VF or better.

Over 90 cover and cards in cover stockbook; strong emphasis on star cancels, others including near full strike of 1860''s Greenfield, Ms. "Masonic trowel" cancel, 1870's Chicago blue Gin Barrel, 1880's wheel-of-fortune cancels, other fancies including geometrics, Maltese cross, letters, Lewisburg, Pa. grid and star (precancel?), 1860's Ulster, Pa. star, etc.
