Wells, Fargo & Co. Express/San Francisco. Perfect strike of blue octagonal handstamp tying 1851 3¢ dull red (slightly in at bottom) on cover to the San Joaquin County Recorder in Stockton, Very Fine, a rare and beautiful classic Wells, Fargo & Co. usage.

Two strikes of blue oval handstamp tying 1851, 1¢ blue, type IV, vertical strip of three on cover to Georgetown, with "Agency Of The/Accessory Transit Co/of Nicaragua,/San Francisco" black shield corner card and manuscript "Wells, Fargo & Co." endorsement; strip of small corner flaws at left and light cover file fold at right, F.-V.F., a rare corner card imprint, ex Polland.

California" oval cameo corner card; cover edge wear, small tear at top and missing most of backflap, F.-V.F., a scarce early telegraph cover carried by Wells, Fargo & Co.

Blue oval handstamp (Leut. type 1-12) tying 1851 3¢ on cover to Georgetown with corner card of "Agency of the Accessory Transit Co./of Nicaragua", handstamped matching blue "Free" in oval, some edge wear, used prior to the issuance of franked covers, Very Fine, a nice cover from the company responsible for mail transit across Nicaragua.

Blue oval handstamp with matching "Paid" in oval handstamp on 1853-55 3¢ Nesbitt entire to Sacramento, entire with blue Meader, Lolar & Co. illustrated full rigged ship corner card, accompanied by contemporary ad with similar rigged ship illustration; slight edge stain at bottom left, still Very Fine, a very scarce illustrated corner card.
