Bamber & Co's Express Balance. 6 covers, 4 with Bamber's Printed Frank including: a complete paste-up with two strikes of Bamber's San Francisco oval on franked side; cover to San Francisco from Antioch with small Bamber's Antioch handstamp and partial large Bamber's San Francisco oval rec. mark.; cover with "Somersville, Cal." postal cds to San Francisco.; cover with San Francisco cds, to Maine, with business card of San Francisco merchant "J.G. Farnham, Wood, Coal, Hay, Grain and Feed", enclosed with letter. also, 2 covers with Wells, Fargo & Co. Frank, one a complete paste-up from New San Diego to San Francisco, the other from Oakland to San Francisco, with "Answer By Bamber & Co's Express" boxed cancel struck twice, once over Wells, Fargo & Co. frank; mixed condition, generally Fine.
