Confederacy, 1863, 10¢ Blue, "T-E-N". Huge margins to just touching outer frame at top, tied by light strike of black "Richmond, Va./Apr. 1863" cds (Powell #6c, without date logo, only used in April 1863) on cover to Rocky Mount, Va., cover flap missing & lower corners repaired, Very Fine, a very early usage as this postmark was used in mid-April for a very short time, currently the earliest known usage is April 23, 1863.

Showing large parts of three frames, torn roughly at left, tied to gray and cream wallpaper cover by bold "Mobile, Ala./Sep. 15, 1863" double circle postmark to Richmond, Va., stamp with small edge flaws and cover has been repaired to highlight wallpaper, Very Fine appearance, a rare wallpaper adversity usage, ex Wisemsan, Dupuy; with 2002 C.S.A. certificate.
