Samoa, 1895-1900, 1d Blue, Postal Card. Assembly of 38 cards; majority on grayish buff stock (early printings), postally used including uprated cards to Germany and one to New Zealand (defects), range of C.T.O. cancels with date ranges from Feb. 20 to Aug 19, 1896, selection of later unused pale blue green cards (most with ½d uprating) and a few of the scarce greenish gray cards; few flaws, generally F.-V.F.

Samoa, 1895, 1d +1d Red on Grayish Buff, Reply Postal Card. With perf 10 separations, unsevered entire, some mounted adhesion on reverse, otherwise Very Fine, a rare unsevered reply postal card.

Samoa, 1895-98, 1d Red, Reply Postal Card. 28 cards (reply & with reply); mostly on grayish buff stock (early printings) CTO canceled with Aug 12, 96 dates, one severed entire with Nov 7, 95 cds (earliest recorded postmark), also an uprated with reply pale blue green card with May 19, 97 cds's and a grayish green card used to Germany on 1898 (missing uprate ½d stamp); few flaws, generally F.-V.F.

Samoa, 1895, 1d + 1d Red on Grayish Buff, Reply Postal Card. With perf 10 separations, unsevered entire, each side with "Apia, Samoa, Nov 7, 95" town cancels, Very Fine, the earliest known usage of these reply cards, with only 250 printed in attached pairs.
