Mexico, (Saltillo) Saltillo. Circular date stamp (Schatzkes 1356) on 1864 folded letter to San Luis Potosi, reverse with Catorce transit boxed date stamp, matching "Franco" & "2" (Schatzkes 1472-1473) with additional "2" handstamp applied in Saltillo, some cover soiling, otherwise Very Fine, a rare "Thru-The-Lines" usage.
Estimate    $150 - 200.

Saltillo at this time was held by the Liberals under Juarez. The Juarez issue did not arrive until a little later, hence the "Sello Negro" usage.
