Early Nebraska Territory cover, somewhat light strike ties 3¢ 1857 red, to St. Louis, Mo., backflap torn with piece missing and tear extending to top of front, still rare; also imperf 3¢ 1851 with double circle St. Joseph, Mo.1858 postmark on cover to same addressee, F.-V.F. and rare.

Clear full fancy ornate oval wreath postmark in red on 1843 folded letter to New York City, manuscript "Paid 18¾" rate; light file fold affecting townmark, still Very Fine, an attractive and very rare ornamental mortised town handstamp, reported to be one of two known examples, this is the listing example in the ASCC.
