1895, 1¢-$5.00 Bureau Issue, "Specimen" Ovpt. Each with large "SPECIMEN" overprint applied almost vertically, unused (no gum), few perfs scissors-trimmed, few small flaws, Very Fine appearance, It is reported that only two sets are known.; $5 with 2010 P.F. certificate.

1895, 1¢-$5.00 Bureau Issue, "Specimen" Ovpt. Four fragments containing every denomination, each with purple "Specimen" overprint applied at Natal, few flaws including. first four damaged, Very Fine appearance; with 1981 B.P.A. certificate.

The Unique Set of the 1895 Bureau Issue Overprinted "Specimen" by the Post Office in Natal.

These stamps were received without Specimen overprints by the U.P.U. offices in Bern, Switzerland. They were sent to Natal, where the local post office applied the overprint (Samuel type NA2).

Deep rich color and proof-like impression, bottom right stamp small toned spot on one perf at top not mentioned on accompanying certificates, block of 4, slightly disturbed o.g., Very Fine appearance, The Scott Catalogue assigns only a $1,000.00 premium for the block versus four singles, which in no way reflects its rarity.; with 1972 and 2008 P.F. certificates.

1898, 1¢-15¢ Issue, Natal "Specimen" Ovpts. (279S, 281S, 282CS, 284S). The 1¢, 5¢, 10¢ & 15¢ values affixed to piece from page, rich colors, fresh and F.-V.F., rare, it is evident that the 2¢ and 4¢ from the later change of colors were not affixed to the book as their colors were similar to the earlier issue, this set is unique, with 1981 B.P.A. certificate.
