Letter Express, 1844, 5¢ black on pink. Cut to shape, manuscript canceled on 1844 folded letter from Detroit, Mich. to Buffalo, N.Y.; file fold affecting stamp and some splitting along folds, otherwise F.-V.F., very scarce; signed Frajola, with 2006 P.S.E. certificate.

Metropolitan Errand and Carrier Express Co., 1855, 1¢ red orange. Cut to shape, minor oxidation and slight surface wear at upper left, tied by boxed "Paid" handstamp on cover to Brooklyn, Conn., in combination with 1851, 3¢ dull red tied by New York cds, F.-V.F.; with 2001 P.S.E. certificate.

Metropolitan Post Office, 1852-53 (2¢) red. Cut to shape as always, tied by partly readable "Metropolitan P.O." circular datestamp with "Paid/W. H. Laws" framed handstamp on locally addressed cove; cover with small edge tears at top and stamp with light crease at top (basically a wrinkle near the edge), Very Fine, a beautiful tied example of the rare "W. H. Law" Metropolitan Post Office stamp, of which only seven covers are recorded., ex Schenck, Hall; with 2001 P.F. certificate.

Priest's Despatch, 1851 (2¢) black on rose. Margins slightly cutting in, uncancelled as usual, used on front only to Henry Seybert at 11th and Chestnut Streets, F.-V.F., one of only nine Priest's Despatch black-on-pink usages, ex Golden; with 1999 P.F. certificate stating that the stamp has been removed and replaced on this front of origin.
