Revenue - Tobacco Tax Paid Collection, 1868-1952, well formed collection of arranged by Springer #'s in two stockbooks; strong completion starting with complete 1868 first issues including cancel varieties on the lower values and modest duplication in higher values, good 1869 issues and strong completion in 1870 1st and 2nd issues, similar later issues with strong runs of issues, 1872 Provisonals with ½ lb. & 10 lb values (Springer unlisted) and many good listed, 1872 issue with all key high values and some modest duplication in the violet paper issues, later issues in similar fashion through the 1883-1902 Lincoln series and later 1910's Indian series, good representation of late issues, etc.; a wonderfull assembly of these scarce tax paid revenue issues.Estimate $3,000 - 4,000.
