Japan, Revenue Collection, well in excess of 1,000 stamps arranged on stockpages and identified by either Shimumura or Barefoot; includes a detailed study of early general revenue issues including 1873 issues with additional roulette and paper varieties, similar 1874 issues with an array of paper and perforation varieties including compound perfs, 1883 issue with the array of perf varieties and noted papers, strong showing of later, the host of other revenue issues present including judicial including perf varieties and Mihon set, medicine tax with perf study, similar registration tax, sales tax, good section of silk worn eggs tax and set of raw silk tread tax bands, other misc. and unidentified labels, prefecture issues and some on document items.

Latin America, Revvenue Collection, impressive assembly of thousands of stamps arranged and identified on stock pages by Forbin and other specialized catalog no.'s and housed in 6 binders; some of the major revenue sections include Brazil with a good run of Federal tax issues and other including beverage tax, cigar tin foil, accountancy, section of state and municipal, etc., Ecuador with general revenue issues as well other services and taxes, similar Dominican Republic, Costa Rica with documentary and other specific tax issues, substantial section of Uruguay including consular fee, large section of documentary issues, receipt stamps, etc., other countries include Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and many others.

Liberia, Specialized Liberia, 1903-1974, interesting assemblage of many hundreds, with errors, proofs, die proofs, trial colors, specimens, printing varieties, etc., mainly items promoted by Bileski some priced $100 or more, most legitimate issues, some Scott listed, others not, excellent groups of Ashmun issues with Szyk designs, many in sheets of 20, some with gutters and other position varieties; housed in stockbooks, mounted on pages, some still in Bileski envelopes; well worth a careful review; excellent condition throughout; also includes 1975 von Saleski Specialized Catalogue.

Mexico, Collection, 1856-2006, exceptionally well-filled Scott Specialty albums, with numerous Hidalgo issues with the various overprints, only a few marked as forgeries; Arms include #18a with Mepsi cert; on to Maximilian; Juárez & Numeral designs quite complete, followed by Pictorials & Eagles, numerous overprints, onwards with University to 1p (Airs to 10p) thereafter about complete Airs & commemoratives for the period, lacking only a few rarities; back-of-the-book not especially strong; otherwise very strong and seldom offered with such completion; condition generally F-VF, please inspect.
