(Nevada), "Beatty House, Centerville, Grass Valley, Nevada County, California" printed corner card used as a postmark with manuscript date alongside on cover to New York with manuscript "10" rate; small mended tear affecting marking and corner nick at bottom left, Very Fine, described in the Knapp sale as…extremely fine and one of the greatest of rarity as Centerville was a Post Office for 13 months only, ex Knapp, Pierce.

Packet" of February 12th in red, 23 February Le Havre receiving mark in red with 6 decimes French due marking all on face, additional transit and receipt marks on reverse, file fold, Very Fine, a scarce small city usage abroad.
