Kensett & Co., 1¢ Green, Old Paper, wide margins and deep color, small tear, thin and a hint of soiling at bottom, Very Fine appearance, a rare Private Die Proprietary issue used for a little over two months and in far better condition than normally encountered, only 27 are recorded in the Aldrich census (of which 20 are reported to be faulty) and additionally states that generally they exist very faulty.
