Match, Canned Fruit, Perfume & Playing Card Company Ephemera Collection, over 48 items arranged in binder, including bill & letterheads and advertising circular; includes 1874 Winslow's Green Corn letter on letterhead (an essay design was produced similar to Boutell & Maynard 1¢ match issue), match issues with billheads from Beecher & Sons, Aetna Match Co., James L. Clake, Wm. Gates and others, a 1878 National Bank Note Co. letter to the Portland Star Match Co. advising them that 1¢ stamp plate has become so worn that it is unfit for further printing, similar perfumery billheads, playing cards with illustrated bill and letterheads from N.Y. Consolidated Card Co. and the U.S. Playing Card Co. and other including multicolored items; a nice array of companies represented.

Medicine & Perfumery Advertising Trade Card Collection, approximately 350 multicolored lithograph cards with other additional advertising pamphlets (includes some non-private die proprietary companies); including Lanman & Kemp promoting Murray & Lanman's Florida Water (various designs), Schenck's Family Medicine illustrated designs from a variety of products including Schenck's Mandrake Pills, Dr. Harter's with various "Dream Book" pamphlets and an array of different trade cards, E.T. Hazeltine story pamphlet extolling Piso's Cure, Holloway's Pills & Ointment, B.J. Kendall's humorous horse caricature, Kennedy & Co. with beautiful illustrations for Dr. Radcliffs Great Remedy, J.C. Ayer & Co. with a variety of design for Ayer's Ague Cure, Ayer's Cherry Pectoral, etc., weekly view cards for Dalley's Magical Pain Extractor, etc.; condition varies with some duplication to be expected.
