Italian States, Collection, mint & used housed on album pages; Modena with exceptional completion including many additional, includes newspaper tax stamps including #PR5 with cert, Parma missing a couple rare first issues for completion including better mint issues, used 1852, 40c on piece signed A. Diena, etc., Romagna issues complete mint with a few additional used, Roman States with strong completion including used 50b and 1sc mint, Sardinia with completion mostly mint (needing to be checked), Tuscany with strong showing of Lion issues including 1859, 9cr used (genuine but repaired) and Coat of Arms issues up to the 80c mixed */o, Two Siclies with Naples 1850 issues to the 20g and Sicily with 1859 issues mint missing the 1g value; condition varied with nice fresh material throughout, owner's cat in excess of $103, 680, evaluation a must.

Italian States, & Italy Collection, 1851-97, mounted on album pages; strong completion in Italian States including Modena missing one stamp for basic completion and including the 1859 complete mint, Parma issues with 1852 issues to 25c and complete 1854 & 1857-59 issues, 1859 Provisionals mint to the 40c, complete Romagna issues, Roman States with 1852 high values, showing of good Tuscany issues, including used 1860 Provisionals to the 80c, Naples issues to the 50g and 1860 Cross of Savoy ½t deep blue used (Sc. 9, cat $3,800), Sicily with complete 1859 issues mixed */o, good showing of early Italy with sparse later, including some back-of-the-book; condition above the norm overall.

Italy, Collection, 1862-1955, mostly mint housed on album pages with the occasional used; excellent completion throughout starting with first issues including a Scott #17 on cover with cert, 1863-77 issues complete mostly mint, 1877 surcharge issues complete mint with later definitives occasionally missing an issue, commemoratives with similar completion including 1922 Congress set, 1923 Manzoni set mint and mostly later sets present, back-of-the-book issues including semi postals with a few B.L.P. overprint issues and later sets, airmails mostly complete missing the occasional issue, deliveries, dues, etc., also includes Social Republic with parcels complete and Allied Occupation issues; condition varied with nice fresh material throughout, owner's cat in excess of $55,730, evaluation a must.
