Switzerland, Collection, 1843-1900, mostly used mounted on album pages; with better Cantonal issues including Zurich 6r values (Sc. 1L2 & 1L4, cat $1,750 & $1,600, 1L4 with cert.) and 1850, 2½r Coat of Arms (1L5, cat $4,000, flaws), Geneva issues including 1846-48, 5c issues (2L3-2L4, cat $1,750 & $3,000, sound with certs), 1850, 5c x2 (2L6, cat $1,750 each), Federal issues including Sc. #2 (cat $1,500) and other later coat of arms issues, good showing of Seated Helvetia issues with many nice 4-margin imperfs, 1900 UPU issue with 25c re-engraved mint n.h. (cat $1,400), some postage dues issues, etc.; condition a little mixed in rare issues with overall condition well above the norm.
Estimate    $3,000 - 4,000.

Switzerland, Selection, 1843-1950, interesting group of items in stockbook, including Zurich 1L2 used APS cert (1mm tear) otherwise, couple "Sitting Helvetia" covers, couple better souvenir sheets, mint o.g., n.h. semipostal blocks; also used Liechtenstein 2fr Zepp; closer look recommended.

Lot 1930    

Switzerland, Collection, 1850-1955, mint mounted on album pages with used in early issues; starting with some better used 1850-52 Coat of Arms issues amid dubious unused, imperf Helvetia issues with later mint issues, good to complete mint thereon with better perf'd Helvetia issues including mint high values, William Tell issues with tete-beche pairs, completion in early commemoratives on missing only the scarce issues, including 1914-30 high values, 1934 NABA souvenir sheet, 1945 Pax set, etc., completion in semi postal sets with some souvenir sheets, airmails from C1-C2 on, officials, etc.; condition varied in earlier issues with nice fresh material throughout, owners cat in excess of $26,100.

Switzerland, Austria & Liechtenstein, 1850-1965, in two Scott Specialty albums, neatly displayed, with better early Swiss, continuing onward to post-War issues; Austria also nicely represented with 1930's-1960's semipostals, back-of-the-book, etc; Liechtenstein somewhat scattered; in need of some strengthening, please inspect.
