1854-1863, Transatlantic Mails with Carrier Service, group of five covers from abroad with carrier fee notations in Philadelphia and New York City, comprising 1854 Frelburg, Baden to NYC with ms. "7c" for 5¢ plus 2¢ carrier, 1856 Saintes to Philadelphia with pencil "7cts", 1862 London to Philadelphia, 1863 Munster to NYC with depreciated currency "N.Y. Br. Pkt. 30 or 41 U.S. Notes" cds with "42c +" with addt'l 1¢ carrier due added, and 1863 Munster, Prussia to NYC with pencil "16ct" due rating for 15¢ plus 1¢ for carrier service, F.-V.F. and rare group.

1870-1875 Bank Note Issue Transatlantic Mail, balance of 21 covers on exhibit pages with detailed routing information, includes 1871 cover with 1870 6¢ (trimmed at left) and 1868 1¢ F. grill #92 at 7¢ rate to Germany; 1873 cover with 10¢ to Amsterdam, 1873 with 3¢ pair tied by NYFM geometric to Württemberg, 1874 postal card to Germany uprated with 1¢ paying special 2¢ postal card rate, couple with auxiliary markings, etc, F.-V.F., a nice group.
