(Nevada) Rough & Ready Cal, 23 Jany 1854, clear manuscript postmark on cover to Danbury, Ct. franked with a pair of 1851 3¢ dull red with manuscript cancel; the pair also bears small, light red grids and is somewhat soiled, indicating "possible fraudulent re-use"; minor mounting damage on reverse, otherwise Very Fine.
