(Music) Royal Hawaiian Band, intense multicolored ad design showing Hawaiian Crest & Flag with Eagle and Shield Motif Above, on cover franked with 2¢ Washington tied by 1906 Louisville, Ky. machine postmark; side opening slit showing on reverse, Extremely Fine and choice, a spectacular design.

The Royal Hawaiian Band is the oldest and only full-time municipal band in the United States and has been entertaining Honolulu residents and visitors since its inception in 1836 by Kamehameha III. As of 2008, the Royal Hawaiian Band is composed of 40 full-time musicians. This cover was sent while the band was on their 1906 tour through Louisville, Ky.
