Honduras, First Issue Airmail Reference Collection, approximately 180 stamps mounted on pages; includes a fascinating collection of 133 stamps put together and annotated by the famed Raoul de Thuin giving the history of these overprint and surcharge issues including details regarding the periods of printings, mentions the "AFRO" error surcharge being corrected on the first days of printing, etc., the collection contains 2 rare proofs, 2 genuine including the rare #C5 (defect, signed by creator Dr. Pounds), 66 reprints and 63 fakes (most likely the bulk of which were made by Thuin), reprints with some very unusual varieties, also some additional items including two sample corner card covers that were used in the sales of the reprints; a fascinating and important collection of these issues.
