1867 Mourning Covers From Prussia to New Haven, N.Y., two mourning covers, May 26 from Coeln bearing 2 sgr. blue (3) and 6 sgr. orange for the 12sgr. PCM rate (28¢) with red Hamburg (1.1) transit; and Aug. 1 from Frankfurt bearing 1kr. green, 3kr. rose and 6kr. blue (3) for the 22kr. direct rate (15¢) with Bremen (8.2) backstamp transit and red "PAID.10" framed handstamp; a Very Fine pair.

UNPAID Mar 2" backstamp and matching "U.S. Currency / 8" depreciated currency handstamp; minor flaws, Very Fine and scarce Chicago blue depreciated currency use.
