1869 (Aug. 31) St. Thomas to Manzanillo, Cuba, prepaid folded letter with "St. Thomas" cds and French Line D packet No. 1 (8.30) cds bearing two France 30c. Empire singles, tied by anchor lozenge cancels for the 60c centimes rate, Manzanillo (9.11) arrival cds and black "2" reales due rating handstamp for the northern Europe fee of 2 reales in Cuba, horizontal fold affects stamps, F.-V.F.

Fr. B. No. 2" (8.4) octagonal packet backstamp, clear strike of Cuba "NA1" oval due handstamp for one real postage due in Cuba; some pen docketing on face, otherwise Very Fine and scarce use.
