Hawaii, 1857, 5¢ blue, thin white paper, irregular separation, tied by red "Honolulu, Hawaiian - Islands, Jun 18" cds (243.03) on cover to New York City, "San Francisco, Cal., July 20, 1859" cds with matching "Ship" and "22" rate handstamps, pencil "Rec'd Aug 10th" docketing at left; cover restored adding small portions of top, corners and most of backflap with tiny portion of Honolulu cds redrawn in, Very Fine appearance, still an attractive and interesting double rate usage; with 1993 A.P.S. certificate.
