Victoria, "82" Barred Oval of Hepburn (F&W rarity R), bold complete strike tying 1854, Queen Victoria ("REGISTERED"), 1s rose pink & blue on folded letter to Locarno, Switzerland, reverse with "Hepburn, Victoria, Ap 2, 1855" oval origin date stamp along with numerous transit and receiving date stamps, red "Colonies, &C.Art.13" boxed handstamp and Calais transit date stamp on face along with manuscript rating markings; some cover aging and light wear, F.-V.F., an interesting unpaid foreign registered usage with registry fee paid by the register adhesive.
