Argentina, 1867, 5c rose red, thick paper, no watermark, believed to be from Kneitscel 6th printing (no. 27), without gum, ample to large margins, bright color, thin spot, otherwise Very Fine, Holcombe states "A very rare stamp, only a few copies of this stamp are known and this is believed to be the only unused copy."; with 1994 Holcombe certificate and letter concerning this rare issue. SG No. 21.

Argentina, 1867, 5c rose red, no watermark, paper with faint horizontal ribbing, reverse with double circle control mark handstamp on reverse in blue, similar color and impression of stamps in the 6th and 7th printings (Kneitscel 30G), without gum, clear to ample margins, bright color, Very Fine, this probably was intended as a proof impression which was eventually put into circulation due to a shortage of stamps at the P.O. around the time; with 1994 Holcombe certificate. SG No. 21 var.
