Greece, 1861 Hermes 20L dark blue on bluish, Athens print, coarse impression, without figures on back, faint quadrille background, top sheet margin single, Agoulinitsa "22" dotted diamond cancel, deep color, margins ample to just into framelines, small defects in lower right margin, Fine appearance, a very presentable example of this extremely rare Athens Print issue; with 1981 Holcombe certificate. Michel No. 8.

Greece, 1864 Hermes 10L yellow orange, Athens print, "10" inverted on front of stamp, the famous "Zante" error, so named after the city in which these unusual errors where used, "111" dotted diamond cancel of Zante, ample margins to in at upper left, small thin, Fine appearance, a great Greece rarity with only fifteen examples of this error are recorded, all of which are in used condition; with 193 Vlastos certificate.

Greece, 1862-64, 10L orange + 80L carmine, overlapping and tied by Patra cds's on 1867 folded letter from Manchester, England to Patras, manuscript "via Brindisi" under adhesives, with London, Brindisi & Patras backstamps, two disinfection slits; couple cover tears at right, otherwise Very Fine.

According to Constantinides, this stamp was circulated in Athens and Alexandria. Very few examples are in existence.
