Napis, Nev., Jan 3., blue cds on lemon cover to Oregon franked with 1869, 3¢ ultramarine, light manuscript cancel and tied by some postmark ink; slightly reduced at right, some notes on reverse of cover regarding property owned along the banks of the Powder River, Very Fine (Gamett-Paher unrecorded).

A GREAT RARITY AS THIS POST OFFICE EXISTED FOR ONLY TWO WEEKS IN JANUARY OF 1870 BEFORE THE POST OFFICE CHANGED NAME TO EUREKA.
