1876 (Mar. 18) Tampico, Mexico To Bordeaux, France Via New York, folded letter with blue D. Camacho & Co. (3.18.76) company h.s. and endorsed "pr. 'City of Mexico' via N. Orleans", bearing 3¢ green (158) and 12¢ dull violet (151) tied by two strikes of unlisted NYFM grid cancels, red "New York Apr 12" exchange cds updated to black cds and matching circled "T" due handstamp with blue crayon "2" for double-weight and "70" centimes (14¢) due rating, Calais (4.24) entry cds and "21" decimes due rating, Bordeaux (4.25) arrival backstamp, Very Fine and unusual use.
