1917, 50¢ light violet, o.g., never hinged, choice centering and margins, strong vibrant color in bright paper, Extremely Fine; with 2012 P.F. and 2013 P.S.A.G. certificates, the later Graded (90, SSV $2,750).

The 1917 50¢ stamp was produced for only a very short period. It was released three weeks before the new 1917 Perf. 11 issue and was only used for a short period before being replaced by the new issue.
