Newspaper Issue Collection, 1865-97, well formed collection on Scott album pages, starting with a nice selection of 1865 first issues, 1875 Continental Bank Note issues complete to the $24 value followed by the 1875 Special Printings complete to the 24¢ value (four of the better issues with certs), 1879 American Bank Note Co. issues complete as well as the following 1885 issues, following issues including the 1894 issues including the scarce 12¢ & 24¢ values (flaws, cat $2,600 & $1,850 respectively, with certs), 1895 unwatermarked issue complete (total cat $11, 895) followed by the watermarked set, collection ends with a set of the type D specimen set (less the later 1¢ value); condition varies with nice allover centering and strong colors throughout, accompanied by 13 certificates, Scott cat in excess of $61,000 (if identification of all issues is correct), worth careful evaluation.
