California Town Postmark Covers, nice balance of approximately 150 covers arranged by country and Williams #'s in cover slips, good to better covers; includes 1870's San Leandro (ALA-4510) with fancy "IS" negative initials cancel tying on ad cover, 1880's Oleta registered (AMA-950), 1860's Mokelumne Hill (CAL-1640), 1860's Antioch manuscript (COC-90), 1877 Camp Grant manuscript (HUM-1050), 1860's Lakeport (LAK-1020), 1871 Plainsburg manuscript (MER-1250) and Snellings Ranch oval (MER-1480), Indian Springs manuscript (NEV-930), 1860's Onion Valley (PLU-1660), 1850-60's Mormon Island (SAC-1920), Sacramento with rare 1¢ Star Die drop rate usage, Lockford manuscripts (SAJ-1400) and later scarce townmarks, early Stockton (SAJ-2320, only two reported), 1880's Old Creek (SAL-1540), 1850's Weaverville (TRI-2030) tying imperf 10¢, Springfield 1865 usage to east coast (TUO-1680), similar Long Bar (YUB-760), etc.; nice group of condition above the norm, generally F.-V.F. or better.
