J. Stevens & Co., brownish violet design on cover showing Stevens "New Model Pocket and Bicycle Rifle", franked with 2¢ Bank Note cancelled by pinwheel with Chicopee Falls, Mass. Feb 17 cds alongside duplex to Nashua, N.H., reverse with illustrated advertising of "Stevens Premier Rifle", Extremely Fine and choice, a wonderful cover in perfect condition, this is the first time we have seen this rare design; with 2010 P.F. certificate.

May 29 duplex to Taftville Conn., reverse with text advertising in black and red; open on two sides with light corner wear, reverse with some aging, still Very Fine, a rare design, a similar cover sold for $2,400 plus 15% in our Dec. 2006 sale.

Oct. 7 machine flag cancel, reverse with text advertising in black & red reading "Stevens Fire Arms give Universal Satisfaction"; slightly reduced at right, opened on two sides, small edge tear, Very Fine, One of the rarest and most spectacular designs known. This cover realized a record $5250 + 15% in our Sale 51 - February 5-6, 2013.
