1845-1932 United States Collection, specialized collection of virtually all used regular definitive issues mounted and written-up on quadrille pages in three binders, with pleasant modest to moderate duplication of issues throughout; starting with 4-margin #9X1a and used #10X1 with a 5¢-10¢ corner margin pair reprint, 1847 issue with #1 in shades and #2 (light pen, appears unused), 1851 issue with 1¢ types including attractive IIIa, section of #10-11's showing various reliefs, shades, double transfers, recutting and other plate varieties, 4-margin #12, 10¢ types and a couple #17's, 1857 issue with better 1¢ types, 10¢ types, 12¢ with cancels and high values present (used 90¢ with cancel needing to be checked), nice showing of 1861 issues including 3¢ pink, 5¢ buff and shades, similar red brown and brown issues, 24¢ shades including steel blue and violet issues, 30¢ with 10 singles with a variety of cancels, 90¢ x2, better 1867 grills including 3¢ C & D grills, 2¢ Z grill, E & F grills near complete (missing #99) with some duplication, 1869 Pictorial complete with duplication in mid-values, including used Re-issues with 1¢-2¢ & 10¢ values, Banknotes starting with 1870 grills including duplication to the 6¢ and better high values including 30¢ & 90¢ values, completion in later with duplication in top values, study of 1883 2¢ plate varieties, small bureaus to the dollar values including complete wmked issues, including many used block up to high mid-values, similar 1902 definitives including private vending coils, interesting section of Wash-Franks including 1¢-2¢ bluish (including used 1¢ block), used private vending coils (some mint), better regular coils including line pairs, some unusual cancels, multiples, plate variety, interesting section of offsets, coil waste with better, 1923-29 definitives well represented including good coil wastes, blocks, special section of Kans-Nebr issues with FDC's on piece, used blocks and about 2 dozen covers; a nice collection with condition above the norm and many attractive well centered classic issues, inspect a must to truly appreciate.
