Italian Area, Stock, mostly mint issues on stock and dealer pages housed in 5 binders, generally from a mix of useful to good early issues */o with some better singles and sets on dealer pages, to later runs of commemoratives and definitives in modest to moderate mint quantities, with countries including Cyrenaica, Fiume, Libya, Italian Somaliland and Tripolitania; some better on dealer pages include Italian Colonies #23-32 (cat $381) and good offices varieties; inspection recommended.

Italian Area, Collection, mixed mint and used housed in two Scott album, useful mix of issues with the occasional better; mostly unused Italy with strong completion in early issues, includes 1910 Garibaldi set complete (Sc. 115-118, cat $477), /good showing of later issues including 1932 5l Garibaldi high value used, 1948 St. Catherine set used, etc., selection of airmails including 1933 Zepp set mint and some good later, good showing of States with useful to better issues and a fair showing of Colonies worth checking.

Papal/Roman States, Collection, study of issues arranged on stock and album pages in two binders; starting with the 1852 first issues with over 30 ½b singles with the range of shades and better o.g. mint, couple signed A. Diena, following denominations in similar order noting a range of cancels, again shades and print variety including oily ink, 5b with used block of 5, mixed high values with signed 50b Sc. #10 & 10a (cat $1,800 and $3,250 respectfully) with additional 50b & 1sc values needing to be checked, 1867-68 issues in quantities mostly mint, useful section of covers including early stampless, dozens of single and double 1852, 2b frankings with a nice range of towns, higher denomination frankings including combinations, few foreign destinations, better townmarks, etc.; condition varies with many nice signed items.
