Portugal & Colonies, Stock, 1853-1960, extraordinary mint & used stock on hundreds of stockcards, showing set and singles from Portugal and colonies from classics to semi-modern, some reprints from the classic period but also scarce to rare items also in multiples such as 1866-67 10r and 20r in blocks of four, 1870-76 50r blue in block of eight, various values from the 1895 San Antonio set, also 1894 Prince Henry set, fantastic range of bisects, proofs such as the 1925 Camilo Castelo Blanco in pairs, strong section of the CERES issues with numerous key stamps, hundreds of postal stationeries and covers, some of the better min. sheets, a great lot (STC Afinsa €84'000).

Portuguese Colonies, Collection, housed in two Scott albums; nice array of issues from better early to later sets; with highlights including Angola with strong completion in used early issues and later including complete sets, Azores with better used early issues and near complete later Ceres, good Cape Verde, nice showing of Macao issues including early on piece and some good later completion with the occasional better, Madeira with good early used including 4-margin 1868 100r lilac and 1868 80r orange, Mozambique with 1895 St. Anthony set mint, near complete Ponta Delgada and Congo issues approaching completion, good Guinea starting with good used first issues and many later sets complete, good showing of Portuguese India including later Crown surcharges, St. Thomas & Prince Islands and Timor, etc.; condition a little mixed in early issues, worth review.
