"18¾" rating, other is dated "December 16" to Dover N.H. with red "New-York Jan" cds and matching " Mail Route" h.s. with "18¾" rating, letter with small flaws, F.-V.F.

Ship Atlantic, red oval handstamp on folded letter datelined "London 3 September 1819" and addressed to Norfolk Va., manuscript "Forw. by Y.M.O.S. W. Forde & Co., L'pool 25 Sept." endorsement across backflaps, entered mails with red "New-York Nov 9" cds and matching "Ship" straightline handstamp and manuscript "77" cent rating, some edge wear with refold at bottom, a Very Fine strike of this scarce Atlantic ship cachet.
