1857, 1¢ blue, type III, right stamp in combination with 1857, 1¢ blue, type IIIa, two singles, on grocer corner card cover to Macon, Miss., all tied by "Mobile, Ala., Dec 19" cds's; type III with nick in margin at right, F.-V.F. appearance, still a very scarce on cover combination.

1857, 1¢ blue, type IV, well centered with recuts clearly visible, tied by large "Paid" in grid handstamp on locally addressed 1857 folded letter, red "Boston, Mass., Nov 14" cds; central file fold, Very Fine and choice.
