1847, 5¢ brown orange, much rarer than the orange brown, blue grid cancel, beautiful rich deep distinctive brown orange color, ample to large margins, Very Fine to Extremely Fine, a striking deep color example of the 1847 5¢ brown orange, despite what Scott catalog indicates, this shade is far rarer that the more common orange brown shade; with 2013 P.F. Graded certificate (VF-XF 85, SSV $1,350).
