Mexico, 1872, 50c yellow, strip of four and two singles + 25c red, Tula, cons 47-72, right pair in strip with watermark, all tied by oval "Franco, Tula" handstamps (Schatzkes 1693B) on courthouse wrapper front, F.-V.F., an extremely rare usage with this being the only known 50¢ usage from Tula, only 250 50¢ sent from consignment.

Mexico, 1872, 100c gray lilac, strip of three + 25c red, Tula, cons 47-72, strip with full margins, canceled by clear "Franco, Tula" oval handstamps (Schatzkes 1693B) on courthouse cover front (few tears), F.-V.F., a rare and the only known usage of the 100c from Tula, with only 100 100c sent from consignment.

Mexico, 1872, 100c gray lilac, vertically laid paper, Guadalajara, unwatermarked, cons 16-72, horizontal pair, circular town cancel (Schatzkes 304), margins ample to slightly in, strong color, F.-V.F. and attractive, a very rare high value multiple, with only 12 examples of the 100c on laid paper recorded this is probably a unique multiple; signed J.K. Bash.

Mexico, 1882, 24c violet, without overprint, strip of four and pair, in combination on judiciary front with 1882, 3c Medallion pair + 1884, 10c Hidalgo from Puebla to Tecali making the $1.60 rate, tied by Puebla cds's with light eagle cachet handstamp, Very Fine, at the end of the issue and briefly the Juarez stamps were authorized to be used for domestic rates, a truly outstanding exhibition item.

Mexico, 1886, 1c-10p Numeral Issue, Special Deluxe Proof Set, complete set of 15 proofs on India cut-to-shape and mounted on brown card with bordered frames, in the first colors issued (lilac, 1c, 2c &5c in U.P.U. colors), includes the unissued 50c lilac and 1p & 2p carmine values, Very Fine, this set is believed to be unique, probably issued for high postal authorities and the premium set of proofs of the issue, ex Jay Bard.
